Kailua, HI (August 12, 2022) – A collision involving an officer from Honolulu is being investigated by the Honolulu Police Department.
The incident took place on Kaneohe Bay Drive behind Central Union Church Windward on Saturday, August 6th when a police vehicle in pursuit of a motorcyclist was involved in an accident.
The impact caused the subsidized SUV to smash through a fence, roll down a hill, and finally crash through a stone wall in Kailua. The vehicle then went up in flames.
The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
