Automobile Accidents in Hawaii
Approximately thirty automobile accidents occur daily in Hawaii. An estimated 10,000 car accidents occur annually in the Aloha State. Automobile collisions are the main cause of significant injuries and deaths in the United States. Each year, approximately 6 million car crashes are recorded in the United States, resulting in over 3 million injuries. These incidents send almost two million patients to the emergency department with significant injuries. Each year, up to 40,000 people die in automobile accidents in the United States.
Alarmingly, the majority of recorded vehicle accidents in the United States are the result of irresponsible driving. In the United States, driver carelessness has become a severe and chronic problem during the last decade. This is largely due to the fact that mobile phones have become the focal point of people’s lives. It is hard to walk somewhere without seeing at least a few individuals with their heads down and eyes glued to their mobile phone displays, oblivious to everyone and everything around them. Astonishingly, individuals participate in this distracting habit while driving, resulting in hundreds of thousands of motor accidents annually.
According to reports on irresponsible driving in the United States, distracted drivers cause over 400,000 automobile accidents annually. The amount continues to increase. Sadly, more than 3,000 individuals every year are killed in these crashes. Intoxication, speeding, weariness, and disregarding traffic signs and signals are further examples of driving irresponsibility.
