Traffic Accidents in Hawaii

Kailua, HI - EMS Respond to Injury Collision at Oneawa St and Olomana St

In Hawaii, the most common kind of personal injury claim involves multiple motor vehicles colliding with one another. Automobile accidents cause more injury and death to island residents every year than any other type of accident.

The distressing and harsh reality is that car crash victims or their families are forced to deal with the emotional and physical pain caused by their accident-related injuries, but they also must deal with exorbitant medical bills, the loss of income, and other economic repercussions associated with their accidents.

If you or a family member were injured in a vehicle collision in Hawaii, it is essential to find out what your legal rights are as quickly as possible.

For instance, most people do not know that an accident victim is not obligated to give a statement or communicate in any way, with the insurance provider of the at-fault driver. If the accident victim makes a claim for benefits under their own car insurance policy, they are required to give a statement and answer questions about the claim with their own insurance provider.
