Kahului, HI – Rollover Crash with Injuries Reported near Lowes on Ho’okele St

Kahului, HI (October 23, 2023) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a car crash that took place late Saturday evening.
At around 11:40 p.m. on October 21, the Maui Police Department and Maui Fire Department responded to the scene of a crash that took place on Ho’okele Street.
According to official reports, a collision blocked multiple lanes of the roadway near the Lowe’s parking lot. One of the vehicles involved in the accident overturned and came to rest on the passenger side.
One person was injured in the accident. The victim was treated on-site and transported to a local hospital.
The incident is being investigated by the Maui Police Department.
