Kahului, HI – Accident with Injuries Reported on Kahului Beach Rd near Kanaloa Ave

Kahului, HI (October 22, 2023) – The Maui Police Department attended to the site of a motor vehicle collision in the Kahului area, which resulted in injuries. This incident took place shortly before 4:00 p.m. on October 20.

MPD reports indicate that a collision between three vehicles blocked several lanes on Kahului Beach Road in the area near the intersection with Kanaloa Avenue. The incident prompted officials to close down a portion of the road as they provided assistance.

Injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and at least one person was transported to a local hospital.

The incident is being investigated by the Maui Police Department.
