Car Accidents in Hawaii

Every year, Hawaii experiences a significant number of accidents resulting in injuries, casting a shadow on the otherwise beautiful state. Regrettably, many individuals endure life-altering injuries due to the negligence of drivers. While each accident is unique, there are common injuries victims tend to suffer, including spinal cord injuries, broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, and internal organ injuries.

Regrettably, thousands of innocent individuals are forced to deal with devastating consequences as a result of car crashes caused by negligent drivers. In Hawaii, several leading factors contribute to auto collisions, including:

  • Distracted driving: Drivers who are texting, eating, or engaging in other actions that take their attention off the road can cause serious accidents and leave other people injured or killed.
  • Alcohol use: Drunk driving remains one of the leading factors in many accidents that we see here in Hawaii.
  • Speeding: Traveling at an excessive speed can increase the risk of a driver losing control of their vehicle and causing a serious accident.
  • Weather conditions: Adverse weather conditions, such as rain or even fog, can make it difficult for a driver to see the road ahead. This increases the chances of accidents taking place
  • Road conditions: Damaged or destroyed roads can lead to drivers losing control of their vehicles and crashing into others.
