Kahana, HI – One Hurt in Crash on Ho’ohui Rd near Honoapi’ilani Hwy

Kahana, HI (November 17, 2023) – A bicyclist was injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that was reported in the Kahana area on Tuesday evening. The crash was reported to law enforcement at around 5:15 p.m. on November 14.

According to Maui Police Department officer’s investigative reports, a bicyclist was riding near the intersection of Ho’ohui Road and Honoapi’ilani Highway during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle. The bicyclist suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The injured party was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further medical attention. The accident is being investigated at this time.
