Traffic Collisions in Hawaii

Kahaluu, HI - Vehicle Crash on Kamehameha Hwy Leaves One Injured

Traffic accidents in Hawaii can be very difficult to deal with, mainly because you or your loved one may have experienced considerable injuries. Many victims struggle with balancing the copious amount of paperwork coming at them from all sides, including claims adjusters and their insurance providers, specialists, surgeons, physicians, as well as other healthcare professionals, the other driver’s car insurance company, along with anybody else who was even remotely involved.

Our Hawaii victim injury lawyers have spent their careers successfully handling these entities while providing reliable legal services to those who are currently dealing with a situation that is both stressful and overwhelming.

Two of the most common causes of vehicle crashes in Hawaii are:

Drunk Drivers: While deaths caused by drunk drivers have decreased, they are not likely to disappear entirely when you consider that a survey conducted among Hawaii drivers revealed that they are 50% more likely to intentionally get behind the wheel after having a few drinks when compared to the rest of the nation.

As reported by a media outlet out of Honolulu, drivers in Hawaii have the highest total of automobile accidents per capita in the United States. Most of these incidents are the result of motorists who have had too much to drink. In Hawaii, a car crash attorney can effectively coordinate information and keep you up to date on any details relating to any ongoing criminal proceedings in order to ensure that full financial compensation is given to those who need it.

Speeding: Sadly, this thought that it is okay to circumvent the law is exactly what places Hawaii residents in even more danger due to vehicles driving too fast. A second publication referenced by a local news source states that motorists from the state of Hawaii are in the top 10th percentile in terms of collisions resulting from motor vehicles being driven well above the posted speed limit.
