Honolulu, HI – Woman Hospitalized After Pedestrian Crash on Kuhio Hwy

Honolulu, HI (December 25, 2024) – A 25-year-old woman was critically injured after she was struck by a vehicle on Kauai on Monday, authorities said. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Police said the woman was crossing Kuhio Highway near the Wailua Golf Course when she was hit by the vehicle.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The road was closed in both directions for two hours as police investigated the crash.
