Honolulu, HI – Vehicle Crash Ends in Injuries on H-1 near Punahou Exit

Honolulu, HI (May 20, 2023) – A serious car accident was reported to officials in Honolulu on the afternoon of May 19. At approximately 12:36 p.m., crews were seen helping at the crash site on the H-1 Freeway. 

Sources say the incident took place on the H-1 Freeway near the Punahou Exit. Two or more cars crashed and caused injuries to those involved. 

Paramedics helped the involved individuals and transported those in need of extensive medical care to local hospitals. Their names have not been reported at this time. 

The roadway was blocked while emergency responders worked in the area. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
