Honolulu, HI (June 1, 2022) – An automobile accident reported near the Sandy Beach area ended in injuries. At around 8 a.m., on June 1, authorities were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on the Kalanianaʻole Highway.

Reports provided by the Honolulu Police Department indicate that two vehicles were involved in an accident on Kalanianaʻole Highway in the area of Kealahou Street. The incident, some delays in the area as emergency crews blocked off the roadway to clear the scene.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital where they underwent medical treatment for injuries.

At this time, the Honolulu Police Department is investigating the crash.
