Motorcycle Accident Fatalities in Hawaii

Honolulu, HI - Two Injured in Crash Involving Moped, Motorcycle on Kapi’olani Blvd

Following a serious motorcycle accident, victims or their surviving family members must face the adversarial process of dealing with the liable driver’s insurance carrier. At Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner, we routinely counteract these kinds of delay strategies through assertive litigation and the willingness to see your wrongful death case through trial.

The sooner an insurance adjuster can speak with the victim, the more evidence they can collect to use against them in future negotiations. They are not obligated to provide benefits to or negotiate in good faith with an injured accident victim if they can categorically prove that their policyholder was not responsible for the accident.

Often, the only way to obtain a fair settlement award for an injury or wrongful death is to file a suit and litigate the claim. Insurance companies have even been known to force cases to trial. A common tactic employed by insurers is to stall the legal process as long as possible hoping that the claimant or their family will eventually concede defeat.
