Honolulu, HI – Serious Car Crash on Kahekili Hwy near Likelike Hwy

Honolulu, HI (March 26, 2023) – A car crash happened in Honolulu on the afternoon of March 26 that ended in injuries. Responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after it happened at around 1:30 p.m. 

Reports from authorities show the wreck occurred on the Kahekili Highway near the Likelike Highway. What caused the incident to happen is still being investigated by local police at this time. 

Victims with serious injuries were treated and transported to local hospitals as necessary. Their identities have not been reported at this time. 

The roadway was blocked for an extended period of time on Sunday afternoon resulting in significant delays in traffic. Local drivers were forced to find different travel routes while the scene was active with responders.
