Honolulu, HI – Serious Car Accident on Moanalua Fwy near Red Hill exit

Honolulu, HI (April 6, 2023) – On the afternoon of April 6, a serious car crash was reported to police in the Halawa area of Honolulu. At around 1:50 p.m., vehicles crashed on the Moanalua Freeway for reasons still being investigated. 

Reports show the collision occurred on the Moanalua Freeway near the Red Hill exit. Vehicles collided and caused at least one person to sustain injuries, however, the extent of those injuries remains under police investigation at this time. 

All lanes of the road were blocked while emergency crews worked in the area. Police in Honolulu are still working to investigate the details of the crash.
