Honolulu, HI – Pedestrian Killed in Hit & Run Crash on Nimitz Hwy

Honolulu, HI (November 3, 2022) – Police in Honolulu reported that a 66-year-old pedestrian lost his life after a hit-and-run accident on Nimitz Highway.
The incident was reported at around 9:35 p.m. on Wednesday when police reported that an unknown vehicle headed west collided with an individual who was walking along the roadway. Authorities stated that the vehicle then fled the scene without stopping.
Sources say the victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries. The vehicle that fled the scene has not been identified.
Police in Honolulu continue to investigate the details of the accident.
