Honolulu, HI (February 15, 2023) – A teenage pedestrian was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident in Honolulu. The crash was a hit-and-run that occurred Wednesday morning, February 15.
Sources say the collision happened on Kapiolani Boulevard when a silver pickup truck struck two teenage girls. The incident took place at around 6:45 a.m.
Both girls were transported to the hospital with injuries, one critical. Advanced life support was administered to the critically injured patient at the scene, but the girl sadly succumbed to her injuries.
HPD, HFD, and EMS were seen rendering aid at the crash site. Kapiolani Boulevard was closed in both directions between Ward Avenue and Kamakee Street.
