Pedestrian Accidents in Hawaii

Sustaining injuries in a pedestrian crash can be scary and painful. An experience like this is something no one wants to ever go through. Individuals who sustain injuries in auto collisions may suffer for days, weeks, or longer after their accidents. Pedestrians usually sustain injuries that are more severe than those who are hurt in other types of accidents. This is obviously due to the fact that they are totally unprotected.

Depending on the severity of your injuries, if you were hurt in a pedestrian crash, you may be stuck in the hospital for a prolonged period of time, away from work and your family. This can be stressful and overwhelming, causing you to miss much-needed paychecks and quality time with your loved ones. An experience of this nature may be expensive, time-consuming, and exhausting.

Each year, about 20,000 people sustain injuries in traffic collisions in Hawaii. Sadly, most of the crashes reported in Hawaii and across the nation are caused by negligent drivers. Intoxicated, distracted, and over-tired drivers can cause accidents that are injurious and deadly. Working with a car crash lawyer in Honolulu is the best way to recover financially after you have been hurt by the actions of a negligent driver.
