Honolulu, HI (May 11, 2023) – On the afternoon of Thursday, May 11, emergency responders were sent to the scene of an auto accident involving a pedestrian in Honolulu. At around 1:26 p.m., the crash happened in the Kalihi area of Honolulu.
Sources report the collision occurred on Kula Kolea Drive when a pedestrian was hit by a car. The Hawaii Police Department, along with Honolulu Emergency Services, were observed at the crash site shortly after the incident took place.
Currently, the name of the injured victim has not been released. Police in Honolulu are still investigating.
Traffic was delayed near the crash scene while emergency personnel worked in the area. Local motorists were urged to use caution or change their routes while crews were present on the road.
