Hawaii Pedestrian Crashes

Traffic accidents are common in Hawaii and throughout the United States. Over 6 million accidents are reported yearly throughout the country. Of these crashes, about 3 million people suffer injuries, and more than 40,000 lose their lives. A percentage of these wrecks involve pedestrians. Yearly, approximately 6 thousand pedestrians are killed in the US. Unfortunately, the majority of traffic accidents involving pedestrians are caused by negligence. When you or a loved one have been seriously injured in an accident, it is important that you know where to turn for help.

When you’re injured in a pedestrian accident, you may be suffering from a multitude of different injuries, ranging from broken bones to total paralysis. Depending on the severity of your injuries and the reason your accident occurred, you may be able to recover financial compensation for the cost of medical care. You may also be eligible to gather compensation for a slew of other damages, including vehicle repairs, lost wages, and even intangible damages like pain, suffering, loss of life enjoyment, embarrassment, and more.

A pedestrian accident attorney can help you determine how your accident happened and whether you qualify for compensation. At the law office of Leavitt, Yamane, & Soldner, we have been helping injured crash victims recover for decades. When you work with our firm, we will do everything in our power to help you get the money you need to get your life back to where it was before your accident. We will perform a thorough investigation of your case and speak to witnesses, other drivers, and anyone else who may have useful information about what happened. Once we have a firm grasp on how your injuries occurred and are able to prove they were the fault of another person, we can help you get the compensation you deserve.

Not only do you deserve to be compensated, but negligent parties also need to be held accountable for their careless and reckless actions. Speaking with an attorney as soon as possible is definitely in your best interest, especially if you did not cause your accident.

At the law offices of Leavitt, Yamane, & Soldner, our team of skilled Honolulu personal injury attorneys is proud of the work we do in helping injured victims and their family members recover. We hold a firm belief that no one should ever have to pay for being hurt by another person’s negligent actions. Don’t let that happen to you! Our firm can help you recover. Even if you were partially at fault for your crash, you may be able to collect a percentage of the compensation available.
