Hawaii Traffic Collisions

Auto accidents happen on a regular basis in the state of Hawaii. On average, thousands of people suffer injuries in traffic accidents each year. Sadly, hundreds lose their lives annually due to auto collisions in the US and throughout the state of Hawaii. Each year, around 40,000 people are killed in car accidents throughout the United States. Over 6 million vehicle collisions happen per year across the nation, injuring around 3 million people. Unfortunately, the majority of these accidents are caused by the actions of negligent drivers. Driver negligence has become the main reason for the majority of car crashes across the nation, especially in the past ten years. Several different forms of negligent driving exist; however, the majority include driver distraction.

Distracted driving is a seriously dangerous form of negligent driving that takes the lives of 3,000 people each year in the United States. Additionally, more than 400,000 car crashes are caused by driver distraction per year. Other common forms of driver negligence include speeding and fatigue. Negligent driving is the most common reason individuals aged 15-20 lose their lives in the US, and among the top ten reasons Americans suffer serious injuries or death.

Suffering serious or debilitating injuries in a negligently caused car crash can be a very difficult experience for crash victims and their family members. You may be stuck recovering in the hospital or at home, unable to work or live your life the way you used to before your accident. Not only may you be suffering from painful injuries, your emotional state could be depressing or full of anxiety, all of which is difficult to endure. Most people who suffer severe injuries in auto accidents have their entire lives upended for weeks or longer.
