Honolulu, HI – Man Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Kaamilo St

Honolulu, HI (September 29, 2024) – Officers with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in Aiea on Friday morning, September 27.

Police say the incident left a 75-year-old man in critical condition, and officials stated that the incident happened just after 10:00 a.m. in front of a home near Kaamilo Street and Kalawina Place. The victim was doing yard work at the time of the crash. Officials added that the car involved in the incident had been located, but the suspect was still at large. Witnesses were asked to get in touch with the HPD. Moreover, an investigation is ongoing in the interim.
