Honolulu, HI – Man Hospitalized in E-Bike Collision on Farrington Hwy at Laaloa St

Honolulu, HI (January 22, 2025) – According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, a 60-year-old man riding an e-bike was ejected onto a road after a vehicle crash in the Kapolei area on Monday night, January 20, officials said.

The crash happened around 8:10 p.m. on Farrington Highway near Laaloa Street. Honolulu EMS said the victim sustained an extensive head injury and was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition with multiple other injuries.

The driver was not injured and remained on the scene; officers added that speed and substances do not appear to be contributing factors in the collision. No further details on the collision were available, but officers are continuing to investigate the incident. Witnesses were asked to come forward with additional information as soon as possible.
