Honolulu, HI – Man Dead, Several Hurt in Collision on H1 Fwy at Vineyard

Honolulu, HI (February 21, 2025) – A crash on the H-1 Freeway turned deadly on Thursday, February 20, per local authorities. It happened just before 6:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes past the Vineyard off-ramp.

According to police, two vehicles collided, and the impact caused a 22-year-old man’s car to overturn. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died. Four people were in the other vehicle: a 66-year-old male driver, a 44-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman, and a juvenile male. Police said they sustained unknown injuries.
