Hawaii Car Crashes
Car crashes are listed as one of the top ten leading reasons people lose their lives in the United States. In 2021, over 40,000 people were killed in auto accidents throughout the country. The previous year, this number was approximately 10% lower. This is the largest yearly increase currently recorded by the National Highway Traffic Association. Due to the fact that so many people operate motor vehicles daily, we tend to shy away from the truth of how hazardous it can be.
In Hawaii, thousands are seriously hurt in auto accidents per year. Sadly, hundreds lose their lives annually in auto collisions throughout the Aloha state. No one wants to get hurt in a car accident, however, it happens all the time. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics reported that every minute in the US, approximately 13 car crashes occur. Roughly 27% of all traffic collisions result in injuries, which is equal to three injury accidents per minute.
According to car insurance estimates, the odds of you being involved in a car crash during a 1,000-mile trip are about 1 in 366. The average driver files an insurance claim for a car crash approximately once every 18 years. When you or someone you love is injured in an auto crash with another individual, it’s important to be able to figure out whose fault the accident was. If you figure out that it was the other party, they need to be held liable for the damages you face.
