Honolulu, HI – Major Vehicle Accident on H1 E near Managers Dr Overpass

Honolulu, HI (August 2, 2023) – A serious car crash was reported to officials in Honolulu on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 2. Shortly before 2:00 p.m., the collision took place on the H1 Highway East. 

Several emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to render aid to those involved shortly after the incident occurred. Sources report the crash took place on H1 East near the Managers Drive overpass just before the Waikele exit. 

The Honolulu Police Department, along with EMS, were seen helping at the crash site. Those with injuries were rendered aid and transported to the hospital as necessary. 

Currently, the names of the involved parties remain unknown. Authorities in Honolulu are still working to determine the details of the accident. Road blockages were put in place on the Highway while emergency crews were present in the area, resulting in substantial traffic delays.
