Honolulu, HI – Major Car Wreck Causes Injuries on H1 near Kalihi on-ramp & Vineyard Exit

Honolulu, HI (November 25, 2022) – An auto crash was reported to authorities in Honolulu on the evening of November 25. At around 9:19 p.m., emergency dispatchers received calls concerning the crash on H1. 

The incident happened on the H1 Interstate near the Kalihi on-ramp and the Vineyard exit. At least two cars crashed in the area and caused injuries to those involved.

How the accident occurred is currently under local law enforcement investigation. Shortly after it occurred, the crash was moved to the right shoulder to avoid serious traffic delays.

Paramedics rendered emergency medical aid to those with injuries at the scene. One or more patients were treated on-site and transported to local hospitals for further care as necessary. 

Nothing further has been reported concerning the crash or its circumstances.
