Honolulu, HI – Linda Young Identified in Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Pali Hwy

Honolulu, HI (December 5, 2024) – The Honolulu medical examiner has identified Linda Young as the woman struck and killed while walking across the Pali Highway.

Police say the 72-year-old was in a crosswalk around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, December 3. The driver, a 37-year-old woman, remained at the scene and was not injured. In the interim, no additional information has been disclosed; authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the accident, and witnesses were asked to come forward.
