Honolulu, HI (October 27, 2024) – Officials in Honolulu say that emergency responders were dispatched to a crash that closed a local intersection on Sunday afternoon, October 27.

The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) reported the incident after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. According to Honolulu Police Department (HPD), the incident occurred at Kailua Road and Hamakua Drive in the greater Kailua area. Honolulu EMS units and HFD rescue teams were active at the scene of the accident; however, Honolulu police have not released any details about the crash or victims, and it’s unclear how many were hurt.
