Multi-Vehicle Crashes in Hawaii
Far too often, car crashes take place in Hawaii due to negligent drivers. Major motor vehicle collisions are a serious issue in the United States and throughout the state of Hawaii. In fact, close to 10,000 car crashes are reported annually in Hawaii, and these incidents cause thousands of people to sustain injuries. Furthermore, every year, more than six million car wrecks are reported nationwide, most of which are caused by driver negligence. Tragically, it is the victims and their families who pay after such an incident. Some of the leading factors and collisions across our state include:
- Drunk driving
- Reckless driving
- Distracted driving
- Running red lights
- Passing through stop signs
- Fatigue
These acts of negligence continue to cause severe harm to innocent drivers and passengers traveling nearby. In many cases, those involved in accidents are left with serious injuries that affect their lives forever. Common injuries reported in vehicle collisions include soft tissue injuries, dislocations, internal organ damage, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, or even burns.
