Car Accidents in Honolulu

Motor vehicle accidents are on the rise across the United States, and, unfortunately, they are also prevalent across the state of Hawaii. In fact, hundreds of vehicle accidents are recorded each year in Hawaii, and as a result, thousands of individuals are injured as a result of these accidents. Additionally, throughout the course of each year, over six million vehicle crashes are recorded across the country, most of which are the result of driver recklessness.

Driver negligence can be displayed in countless ways. However, the most common are speeding, intoxication, distraction, and fatigue. Drivers who pay attention to their phones, the radio, other people in their cars, and anything other than the roadway while operating their motor vehicles put themselves and everyone else at risk for serious injuries or even fatalities. For example, in one recent year, over 11,000 people were killed due to auto accidents caused by speeding. Speeding is one of the most dangerous types of driver negligence because it leaves drivers no time to stop in case of an accident and increases the dangers and risk of catastrophic injuries in the case of a crash.
