Honolulu, HI (June 21, 2023) – Five people suffered injuries in a collision that happened in Honolulu on the night of Tuesday, June 21. At approximately 9:05 p.m., the incident took place on the Farrington Highway.
Sources say the accident occurred on the Farrington Highway near Black Rock Beach Park. A man in his 20s was headed east when his vehicle left the side of the highway and collided with a guardrail before going back onto the road and then leaving the left side of the highway. The vehicle then re-entered the road and flipped over onto the right shoulder.
EMS transported the driver to an area medical center with critical injuries. He was later said to be in serious condition. Four teenage passengers were also transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Authorities in Honolulu continue to investigate the details of the crash.
