Hawaii Pedestrian Accidents
In the United States, pedestrian crashes are most often caused by drivers who fail to stop at traffic lights or stop signs. When it comes to driver distraction playing a part in pedestrian wrecks, texting and driving are becoming increasingly common as one of the main reasons pedestrian crashes occur. During the year 2020, over 7,000 pedestrians lost their lives in vehicle collisions. Most of these accidents were the result of negligent and careless drivers.
Pedestrians are often more seriously injured than other people when they are involved in motor vehicle accidents due to the fact that they travel with little to no protection. Over half of the time, pedestrians sustain serious or even fatal injuries when they become involved in motor vehicle accidents.
Pedestrian collisions may take place for numerous reasons. However, the majority of them are caused by the actions of negligent and irresponsible drivers. When you or someone you love are hurt in a pedestrian crash, having an aggressive and experienced advocator on your side will help to ensure that you receive full and fair financial compensation for the losses and damages you face in relation to your accident.
Unlawful and negligent driver behaviors put numerous people in danger in the United States, especially pedestrians and cyclists. When the person operating a potentially deadly vehicle is inattentive or careless for even a second, the chances of them leaving someone seriously injured or taking a life are unfortunately extremely high.
Some examples of the kinds of negligence that result in pedestrian collisions include drunk driving, distracted driving, poorly maintained vehicles, reckless driving, and badly designed roadways and intersections.
