Honolulu, HI – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on N King St near Robello Ln

Honolulu, HI (December 17, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed after they were hit by a car on Friday night in Kalihi. The crash took place at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday, December 16.
Multiple responders were sent to the site of the crash to render aid The wreck happened on North King Street near Robello Lane. Police in Honolulu reported that a 76-year-old man was driving a red Corvette headed west on North King Street when he struck a male pedestrian.
The identity of the pedestrian has not been reported at this time. Authorities in Honolulu are working to determine the cause of the incident.
Sadly, the injured victim lost their life in the accident.
Delays in traffic ensued near the scene while responders worked in the area. Police asked local drivers to use different routes while the roadway was blocked by emergency vehicles and personnel.
