Honolulu, HI – Fatal E-Bike Accident on Farrington Hwy Under Inquiry

Honolulu, HI (January 27, 2025) – According to authorities’ latest reports on Sunday, January 26, a 60-year-old man died after a crash in Kapolei last week.

The crash happened on Monday on Farrington Highway near Laaloa Street.  The man was thrown onto the roadway and sustained an extensive head injury, and Honolulu EMS rushed the man to a nearby hospital in critical condition with multiple other injuries, where he later died. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt and remained on the scene.

No further details on the collision were available, but officers are continuing to investigate the incident. Witnesses were asked to come forward with additional information as soon as possible.
