Honolulu, HI – Child Hospitalized in Pedestrian Accident on Waihee Rd

Honolulu, HI (April 6, 2024) – A four-year-old boy is in serious condition after a car accident involving a pedestrian in Kaneohe on Saturday afternoon, according to Honolulu officials.

Honolulu EMS said ambulance crews responded to a motor vehicle accident on Waihee Road near Kahaluʻu Elementary School just before 1:30 p.m. Officials said the four-year-old boy was treated by paramedics and transported in serious condition to a local area trauma hospital. The investigation is ongoing, however, and no further details have been released in the interim.
