Traffic Collisions in Hawaii
Across the islands of Hawaii, more than 10,000 car accidents happen yearly, while the majority are caused by negligent driving. Currently, intoxicated and distracted driving are the preliminary causes of car crashes in the Aloha State. Sadly, the rest of the country sees similar trends.
Daily, more than 17,000 auto collisions are reported in the U.S. Approximately 7,500 individuals are hurt in these crashes, and several different forms of driver negligence exist that contribute to these incidents. Motorists who decide to act negligently behind the wheel cause many people to become seriously injured and even lose their lives.
When a person suffers injuries in a car crash, they need to figure out how the crash occurred because if it was not their fault, they may be eligible to collect financial compensation. If you or someone you love were hurt in a collision that was triggered by the actions of another party, you should not have to worry about how you will pay for the financial obligations that stem from the accident. Financial recompense can help cover the damages that have stemmed from your collision, including:
- Medical bills
- Lost wages
- Lost future earning capacity
- Vehicle repair costs
- Pain and suffering
