Hawaii Vehicle Crashes

In the United States, over 40,000 people lose their lives in annual auto accidents. The majority of these collisions happen due to driver negligence. Especially in the past decade, negligent driving has been pinned as the main culprit in the causation of severe and fatal auto collisions in the US. This is most likely due to the extreme popularity of smartphones among American citizens. Unfortunately, the majority of individuals cannot even go a few minutes without looking at their phone screen. Those who use their phones while behind the wheel risk their own lives and the lives of those around them. Other forms of negligent driving that are common on American roadways include intoxication, fatigue, and speeding.

Based on the most recent statistical information gathered concerning auto collisions in Hawaii, the accident rate in the Aloha State is expected to rise in 2023. highways and intersections are the most common places auto accidents occur in the state of Hawaii. In 2023, motorcyclists, bicyclists, and pedestrians are at increased risk of sustaining life-threatening injuries when they become involved in accidents.

When a car accident happens because of negligent driving, anyone who gets hurt in that accident is eligible to collect financial compensation for their injuries and losses. If the worst possible thing has happened, and you have lost someone you love in a crash caused by negligence, you are also eligible to collect compensation for a long list of damages. These include funeral costs, medical bills, vehicle repairs, and more.
