Honolulu, HI – Auto Accident Ends in Injuries on H1 W near Waimalu Exit

Honolulu, HI (March 22, 2023) – Late on the night of March 22, a car crash was reported to officials in Honolulu County. Police and paramedics were sent to the crash scene at around 11:34 p.m. to help those involved. 

Reports show the incident took place on the H1 Freeway in the westbound lanes near the Waimalu Exit. Two or more cars collided for reasons still under investigation. 

Emergency responders rendered aid to those involved at the crash scene. Police and other rescue personnel were seen working in the area for some time after the incident happened. 

At this time, it remains unclear how many people sustained injuries in the accident. Authorities in Honolulu continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
