Hawaii Car Crashes
Every day, approximately 30 serious auto collisions happen in Hawaii. Auto crashes are a leading cause of serious injuries and death in the United States, especially among those aged 15-20. Over 6 million vehicle accidents happen throughout the country annually. These incidents cause injuries to more than 3 million people per year, and take the lives of approximately 40,000.
Alarmingly, most of these wrecks are caused by the actions of negligent drivers. Thousands of people choose to get behind the wheel and use drugs, drink, text, or speed. This leads to injuries and fatalities for millions of poeple each year. When someone sustains injuries due to another person’s negligence, the injured party and/or their family members are eligible to collect financial compensation for the losses and damages they face.
After you’ve been severely injured in an auto crash, you may be suffering a great deal. Not only may you be dealing with seriously painful injuries, you may also be worrying about how you’ll cover the costs related to your accident. Facing all of this by yourself can be stressful and overwhelming.
Depending on the circumstances of your accident, you may qualify for financial compensation that can help you recover financially from the damages that stem from your crash. A personal injury lawyer in Hawaii can help you file a personal injury claim for compensation so you can get back on your feet.
If a negligent driver caused your injuries, they need to be held accountable for their choices so they are less likely to put someone else at risk in the future.
