Hawaii Car Crashes

Car accidents are one of the most common reasons people end up prematurely losing their lives in the United States. In 2021, over 40,000 people were killed in auto collisions throughout the country. The previous year, this number was lower by about 10%. This is the largest yearly increase currently recorded by the National Highway Traffic Association. Due to the fact that so many individuals operate vehicles on a daily basis, we tend to ignore the fact that driving is actually rather dangerous.

In Hawaii, thousands of people end up with injuries due to car crashes each year. Sadly, hundreds lose their lives annually in these wrecks. No one wants to get hurt in a car accident. However, it happens all the time. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics reported that every 60 seconds in the US, approximately 13 car accidents occur. Roughly 27% of all car accidents result in injuries, which is equal to three injury accidents every minute.

According to estimates made by car insurance companies, the odds of you being involved in a car crash during a trip of about 1,000 miles is about 1 in 366. The average driver files an insurance claim for a car accident about once every 18 years. When you or someone you love is hurt in a car accident with another person, it’s important to be able to figure out whose fault the accident was. If you determine that the other party is responsible, they need to be held liable for the damages you face.
