Burn Injuries in Hawaii

Hāna, HI - Resident Injured, Home Destroyed in Keanini Dr House Fire

When someone is injured in a fire-related accident due to another person’s carelessness, they could be eligible to file a claim against the person responsible.

In many situations, people suffer from devastating accidents caused by the negligence of property owners, product manufacturers, landlords, building managers, and contractors.

The personal injury attorneys at Leavitt, Yamane & Soldner have decades of experience assisting families in getting the economic recovery they are entitled to and the justice they deserve for a serious fire-related injury.

Although the last thing on a doctor’s mind when treating fire-related injuries is the cost, the expense of the treatments is often a major issue for the recipient. A person who endures an injury due to fire typically incurs medical bills upwards of $200,000.

This figure does not take into account the many other financial hurdles that they and their family will face, including lost income, diminished earning capacity, reconstructive surgeries, and support services that help them cope with the psychological trauma caused by the experience.

Getting compensation for these considerable expenses, as well as pain and suffering is not an automatic process, and leaving your fate in the hands of the insurer will almost certainly get you burned a second time.
