Car Accidents in Hawaii

Each year, auto accidents are the cause of thousands of injuries in Hawaii. Far too often, these accidents are preventable. We see many people hurt as a result of collisions that are caused by drivers who are negligent. Some of the leading causes include:

  • Speeding
  • Failure to Yield
  • Pass through Stop Signs
  • Impairment
  • Running Red Lights

Regrettably, these careless actions can lead to life-changing accidents that result in injuries. Countless people are left with serious injuries that require medical care. Common injuries reported in automobile accidents include:

  • Spinal Cord Injuries: These serious injuries are often debilitating and result in paralysis.
  • Brain Injuries: Trauma to the head can have an array of consequences for injured parties, including memory loss, balance issues, and motor function problems.
  • Broken Bones: These injuries often require surgery to heal. Unfortunately, injured parties have to work casts for several months after their accidents.
  • Internal Organ Injuries: Injuries to the spleen, lungs, liver, and other internal organs can be life-threatening. These injuries often require emergency surgery.
