Aiea, HI (October 9, 2023) – On October 9, officers with the Honolulu Police Department were summoned to the scene of an automobile accident in the Aiea area that resulted in injuries.

The crash was reported at around 11:02 a.m.

Reports from HPD show that a collision between vehicles occurred in the 98,000 block of Moanalua Road. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway near Harbor Pointe while assisting.

Emergency officials remained on the site as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene and reopen the roadway.

Injured parties who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals by ambulance.

At this time the crash is currently under investigation.
