Aiea, HI – H-1 near Kaonohi Overpass Scene of Serious Injury-Causing Car Crash

Aiea, HI (November 21, 2022) – Crews in Aiea were sent to the scene of an auto accident on the afternoon of Saturday, November 19. At around 3:00 p.m., dispatchers were informed of the incident on H-1. 

Reports show the wreck happened near the Kaonohi Overpass between an unknown number of vehicles. EMS, Honolulu Police, and the Honolulu Fire Department were seen at the crash site rendering aid. 

Four lanes of the roadway were blocked while crews were present. At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported. 

Authorities in Aiea are working to determine the cause of the incident.
